SGFC Athletics Sports Club defeated Young Talent FA 5-0 in the second Group B game of the ongoing Wali Of Ilorin Cup at the KFA pitch on Wednesday morning.
Abayomi Ayodeji captain of the day began the goal rout when he converted from the free-kick on the fourth minutes to give SGFC Athletics an early lead.
It was game dominated by SGFC Athletics but could not add the second goal before the end of the first half as Young Talent FA defended well to keep the scores at 1-0 at the break.
Sunday Ekene doubled the advantage three minutes after the break after he connected well with Abayomi Ayodeji's through pass to unleash a beautiful strike to beat the goalkeeper.
Young Talent FA had the chance to reduce the deficit from the free kick at the edge of the box but it was well saved by Sodje Abayomi.

Young Talent had a man sent off on the 60th minutes for an elbow on Ismaila Abdulbasit.
Two goals in quick succession from Anthony Jegede and Ismaila Abdulbasit on the 70th minutes and 73nd minutes took the game beyond the reach of Young Talent who found it difficult to contain the fire power of SGFC.
Abayomi completed his brace on the 87th minutes after he dazzled his past the defense line to complete the rout.
The victory place SGFC Athletics second in Group B with four points which seals qualification.
SGFC will play their final group game on Thursday against Dickalo FA at the KFA pitch.
