NPFL side, MFM qualified for the Semi final of the WGB/Lagos FA Cup at the Teslim Balogun Stadium after defeating Ikorodu United 4-1 in one of the quater final games to set up a tantalising semi finals clash against non league side, Freestan fc who had earlier beat giant killers, Fenmark fc by 11-10 on penalties after ending the regulation time 2-2. In a keenly contested game that once again saw highly rated goalkeeper Chibueze Ogbugo in goal for Freestan winning his second man of the match award in as many games for the Ajegunle based team and a clash with Olukoya boys in the semi final will be a very much anticipated kind of football in Lagos state.

Other semi finals matches will see Dominion Hotspurs trading tackles with Spartans fc. All the semi final matches will be played on Friday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium beginning from 8am.
